When you snap photos with the Surface Duo 2, you can use one screen as a viewfinder and the other as a display for your just-shot photo. Its front-facing camera is slightly improved, too. The rear module on the Surface Duo 2 is a hulking thing, but it has the three cameras you’d want in a modern phone: a wide-angle camera, an ultrawide, and a telephoto. The first Surface Duo had only a front-facing camera, and you had to flap it back in order to use it like a rear camera. Most notably, it has a rear camera module on the back. Now, the new Surface Duo 2 is for phone stuff. (More screen time, you say? Here are two screens in one.) You could still answer emails on it, but you could also search for bread recipes or watch Netflix at the same time. It was no longer just a work device, it was a work-from-home device.
